3.8mm Solid Gold Rounded Slinky Box Chain Necklace

A mega-velvety slinky statement gold rounded box chain necklace. The largest, thickest new gold chain I keep in stock. Each link in this chain creates a rounded box shape, resulting in a luxuriously textured three dimensionality throughout the entire length of the chain. The box link is sometimes referred to as the Venetian Chain, given its origination from Venice. It can also be referred to as the square link chain, briolette chain, or book chain. The version I chose to carry has slightly rounded, oval links rather than completely square boxes, which give the chain more facets for light to glimmer off of. This type of rounded box link also gives the chain a velvety slipperiness, almost like a snake chain.

- process: This is by far the thickest new gold chain I source. It's a holy grail of a find because 10k gold is the most affordable gold option available. Due to their size, the semi hollow links still have a satisfying weight on the neck without being distracting with their weight. I think the box chain is an excellent choice for wearing alone, layering, or with any charm - large or small.
