Hand Engraved 14k Gold Solid Hoops

In my opinion, one of the most elusive craftsmanship skills is hand engraving. This is done by literally pushing the gold into a pattern. I couldn't let these be melted down! The hand engraving is on both sides. There is a file mark that the scrappers used to test the gold karat and confirm it as 14k. This is pictured and most of my customers consider it a badge of honor on their gold vintage jewelry!

- process: These hoops were lovingly saved from the gold melt pile. Finding matching hoops in the melt pile can be a bit of a wild goose chase so finding these was a real treat!
- solid 14k yellow gold (not hallmarked but tested and confirmed)
- size: 1.5" from top to bottom; almost 1" at the widest point
- all measurements and weights are approximate
