Thick Solid Gold Bangle

A lovely weight, both physically and visually. I dreamt of a heavy, decadent yet secure bangle for years before crafting one I think is worthy of sleeping in.

I love knowing about jewelry history and the bangle is one of the oldest, most simple yet elegant and nuanced forms of adornment. The word bangle was derived from the traditional Sanskrit word Bangri or Bangali - the ornament that adorns the arm.
